I recently wrote an article for The Grand Traverse Insider about a local award-winning writer, Nancy Vogl. I had the chance to attend a presentation she gave at a local school, and then we corresponded via email to fill in the details. The story ran in Sunday’s edition of the paper (with a nice photo).
With all of the things on my table right now I didn’t feel like it was a great story. I knew it would work, but I couldn’t help wishing I had been able to give it a little more attention. As is usually my concern, I just hoped my subject was happy with the results.
Yesterday in my email account, I received this:
Your article in the GT Insider was simply wonderful…you did a lovely job of capturing the essence of what I speak about and my mission.
Yeah!! Nothing is as encouraging as hearing the person about who your wrote tell you that she’s happy with the results. I’m so glad it all worked out
